About her
I'm a lifelong learner, writer and teacher who is still fascinated by ideas, cultures and why people think the way they do. I've had several different careers, travelled widely, written books and never quite lost the habit of asking questions. I enjoy thoughtful conversation, humour, history, philosophy, spirituality and the wonderfully strange business of being human. I'm not particularly interested in small talk or exchanging lists of daily activities. I'd much rather hear what you've discovered, what you've changed your mind about, what puzzles you, or what you still want to understand. Curiosity, an open mind and a good sense of humour will get us off to an excellent start.

I'm looking for friendship rather than romance — someone curious, independent and interested in the world around them. I'd enjoy meeting people who like good conversation but also want to get out and do things: exhibitions, talks, theatre, concerts, interesting places, a good café, or simply discovering something new. Age matters much less to me than having an open mind, a sense of humour and genuine curiosity about life. I'm especially drawn to people who still have interests, ideas and things they want to explore. I'm not looking for a love match — just good company, interesting conversation and perhaps some new adventures along the way.
