I've been on my own for eight years and am happy with my life because I have a loving family and many good friends.
I like cooking and sitting around a dining table chatting with people whose company I enjoy. I like animals and often look after my son and his family's little dog. I enjoy walking, National Trust outings, visiting gardens, art galleries, reading, tv and films. Going to the theatre is a treat. Travelling and exploring is also on my list. I don't like smoking! I used to be interested in politics but like many people, feel disillusioned at the moment. People say I'm funny and interesting to be with. I like to think I'm kind and caring.

I think I want a kind gentleman who is well educated, probably widowed and is looking for companionship, outings, just sharing life. Someone who is confident, financially comfortable and laughs easily.
Certainly not a smoker.
I'd like someone who is as happy watching tv as going to a formal lunch or something
