About him
I worked for many years in the NHS, before I retired and moved to the North East of England. I enjoy cooking, eating out, visiting museums and theatre, but I do much less of those since I've been widowed [3 years ago].
I particularly love singing, and I sing tenor both in my local church choir and in a Male Voice Choir in a former mining community.
I read a lot when it's raining: when it's not, I'm gardening or walking. I love to travel both in UK and abroad: I enjoy driving and so I know many parts of the UK quite well.
My friends say I'm honest and caring: I entertain with stories and I like to make people laugh. I'm kind and generous, and I think that supporting charities locally and nationally is important, particularly heritage and remembrance.

I'm looking for someone who shares my values: someone who's as comfortable out walking as cuddling on the sofa. Someone to travel and share experiences with: someone who enjoys going to the theatre, or galleries and museums.
