I have a dry sense of humour and am not offended by any type of humour but it needs an air of subtlety. Old fashioned in many ways but broad minded and proud of my morals and show respect to people who earn it. Recently adopted a rescue dog so my love of the outdoors has greatly increased. The only downside is he is absolutely clueless on a kayak and I can't/won't take him out on my bike😊.I now have a solo kayak as my daughter and son are the only ones who accompany me-but I would so love that to change. 🤞Swim in the sea 7/8 months a year. My ultimate aim is to try it every month even if it means wearing a wetsuit which I feel defeats the object because there's nothing quite like the feeling of the sea lapping away at your aches and pains which inevitably come with age. I am comfortable in my own company but I find myself increasingly avoiding invitations from couples simply because I tire of being the odd one out. Perhaps there is someone who feels the same.

Ideally possess some of the above but its not essential. A degree of physical fitness and mutual love of the outdoors would be great but I am equally at home with a cup of tea and a slice of cake indoors in front of a cozy fire or in a cafe. A deal breaker would be a dry sense of humour and love of old British cinema.
