About her
I believe people find me open and friendly, I can be funny and am interested in the world and people. I am generous, am open minded and trustworthy. I have travelled quite extensively and am keen to visit new places. However, favourites places are the Northern Lake District, Scottish highlands and Greece. I spend a lot of time in France with a sister who lives there. I also am happy and appreciate being at home and in my garden and have recently finished renovating both.
I spend my time catching up with friends in Manchester and in Cumberland. I enjoy walking in the hills and coast and in my local park with my dogs. I regularly play Pickle ball, swim and sing in a choir. I like playing cards, board games, backgammon and a quiz now and then. I love great films and TV dramas. Since retiring, I am keen to try new activities and meet new people. I try to make the most of the wide cultural opportunities that I have on my doorstep in Manchester.

I would love to meet someone who I can share my love of films, theatre, music and books, and any new interests you may have. I would like someone who gets out and about and appreciates walking in the hills or swimming in beautiful lakes and seas and is active but not a fitness fanatic. Having been single for some time, and with my sons grown up and independent, I am looking for someone kind and honest with good values to share this next phase together. Hopefully finding a friend, good company and how lovely if something deeper developed. I find it hard to define what I find attractive, sometime it's the voice, the humour, the style, but it isn't just appearance or accomplishments, but the whole package.
