I'm originally from the North East and now living in Bicester, Oxfordshire, following retirement a couple of years ago.
I'm easy going, stable, self sufficient and kind and considerate in an old fashioned way.
I have two daughters and four grandchildren all of whom live nearby.
I enjoy mooching around the local area, taking in some retail therapy, cafe culture and people watching. I also like to travel be it weekends in the UK or Europe, or longer cultural experiences.
I enjoy cooking, just simple and tasty meals, and even make my own pasta now and again. Favourites include Italian & Chinese.
My music taste is broad including some classical, Northern Soul, rock/pop, punk. Pretty much anything from the 60's, 70's & 80's. I enjoy live events of any genre,
I like to take gentle walks in the countryside but have no interest in climbing mountains, running marathons, bungee jumping or skydiving from aeroplanes.
All I want is a hand to hold and to be someone's hero.
