I am a wheelchair user who lives independently in a comfortable two-bedroom apartment on the edge of a friendly market town. Life here is peaceful, pleasant, and close to nature—a setting I genuinely enjoy and appreciate.
I was happily married for 54 years and am now widowed. That long and loving marriage taught me the enduring value of loyalty, patience, humour, and true companionship qualities I still hold close and hope to share again. I am mentally alert, well read, and engaged with the world, with a positive and cheerful outlook on life. I enjoy good conversation, shared laughter, and the simple pleasures that make everyday life meaningful. Friends describe me as kind, thoughtful, and easy to be with.
I am currently awaiting a hospital appointment, as my consultant believes that with two new knees it may be possible for me to walk again, perhaps with the aid of a walking aid. I remain both hopeful and realistic, taking life one step at a time.
Although I use a wheelchair, I live independently and manage my daily life well. I do not believe a disability defines a person—character, kindness, and outlook matter far more. I am ready to invest time, care, and commitment into a loving relationship.
