About him
I think it's important not to take life too seriously, which means I am always up for a new adventure, a lot of laughter and fun, and a nice locally brewed pint at the nearest countryside pub. You'll find me the happiest with my walking boots on exploring the West coast of Scotland, West coast of Ireland, or Snowdonia.
My interests include watching rugby and football (and if Swindon FC are doing well, even better!), fly fishing, hikes and walks in the countryside, and spending time with friends and family, including my 3 grown children who live in Scotland, Durham, and beautiful Devon.
Those who know me very well would describe me as fun loving, caring, generous, a skilled craftsman and DIY'er, and a great sense of humour - depending on who you ask!

My ideal match would be someone who enjoys to be outdoorsy and active to join me for long walks, and who would enjoy warming themselves up at the end of it sitting next to an open fire in the local pub. I would get on best with someone who is not materialistic, ideally who loves dogs (as whilst I don't yet have a dog, I hope to in the future), someone who enjoys their own space as well as spending time together, and someone who will be happy to sing and dance along to ABBA in the kitchen with me!
