I am bright natured, articulate, discerning, fun, faithful, considerate, solvent & have a balanced outlook.
As an offset to “enjoying” life, I have kept fit, through gym work, pilates, golf, cycling, racketball but with live music, theatre / films being an important part of my life too. I am totally taken with the grandeur of the Albert Hall & visit each year for Christmas Carols. The ballet "Manon" at the Royal Opera House was just pure emotion & sadness of love lost. The Killers concert at the 02 was just awesome and I am lined up to see Ocean Colour Scene, One Direction and tribute acts for the Eagles, ELO, Santana and Jimi Hendrix - yes, I am a true child of the 60/70s!
I am retired and having mainly worked in London, I know the central and west end areas pretty well from simple pubs (the "Mitre" in Hatton Garden) to nice restaurants (the Lanesborough Grill by Hyde Park Corner) but I still have a love of the countryside with trips to York, Derbyshire and the Lake District having a special place in my heart... as does the amazing view from Richmond Hill towards the Thames. I grew up in Ealing, so get back there too - the Ealing Choir at St Barnabus Church is wonderful; especially, as my son’s partner sings with them 😊.
Whilst I am well travelled, there are still places / experiences that I would love to share and cherish with someone that becomes special to me.
I am fortunate to have a wide & varied group of dear friends and like hosting and going to parties, events and holidays with them; however, I balance that with the downtime of enjoying home life and I would love being affectionate and caring towards you as that special person that I am hoping to find. So, let's hold hands and start some new and happy adventures together x.

Hopefully, you might enjoy Pilates, Yoga or gym classes and perhaps wish to play or learn to play golf (especially, abroad in the sunshine). Travel, both domestic and overseas to nice places / sunny climes, is high on my list too. This year, I have enjoyed a vacation in Orlando with further trips planned for mainland Spain, Portugal, Majorca, Turkey and also driving holidays to York, Northumberland for golf and Skipton for a family wedding.
I see life as a partnership and so I would aim that your interests and passions become an important part of our developing connection. It’s not a deal breaker but I have never managed to find time for pets (aside from a soft spot for Westies & Springers) so, I would need your encouragement and / or understanding there.
My family and friends are a regular part of my life because they are all very dear and special to me; hopefully, they will become so to you too. My children are grown-up, happy, successful and settled with my grandchildren being an absolute delight.
I hope that this self description is helpful to you but I know that it's going to be the “overall chemistry" of attraction that counts at the outset. For me, it is not simply about finding that individual you can be with. It is about finding the one person that you cannot be without and be so proud to have by your side.
