About him
I am a warm, tactile polite gentleman. I have been a widower for five years and although I have a circle of friends and relatives I miss having a lady as a close friend and companion. Obviously ultimately I am looking for romance but this can only happen if we both “click”. I am still fairly active and play green bowls in summer and indoor bowls during winter. I also spend a fair bit of my time in the garden. I enjoy reading, walking, watching films and spend as much time outdoors as I can.
I have my own house and am solvent. I enjoy regular trips away in the UK and some abroad.

Someone who is friendly, attractive to me, patient and comfortable in their own skin. They would have to be easy to talk with and to have had some experience of life with a good sense of humour. I want to continue to travel with someone who enjoys it as well. I think it’s important that people have independant interests. A love of gardening would also help plus walking and nature. A lot of life is pretty ordinary so this lady would also be happy to sit and watch the TV in front of the fire on a winters night. A love of movies would also be an asset. I wouldnt consider any one who smokes I`m afraid.
