About him
What makes me happy? My children (both adults), walking in the outdoors, nature and wildlife, dogs (I don't have my own) and 1960s/70s music. Not a fan of classical music.
I'm already quite happy and try to find humour in most things but it would be nice to share it.
I keep fit by walking and running - and cycling to the train station for my commute. It's almost compulsory to exercise and get outdoors when you live by the sea (lucky me!). I've played a lot of sport but like to try new things - one day I may give skiing a go.
I like the simple things in life - talking, walking, and laughing (sometimes all at the same time) - but I also like eating out, going to the theatre and going on holidays where there are places to explore as well as relaxing.
About his ideal match
I'm looking for someone who shares some of the things that I like, but it's good to have some differences too. Someone kind, honest, loyal, likes to laugh and have fun, who is interested and interesting. But not someone who says "haitch" - ha ha (but seriously). Someone down to earth - and of course very very attractive. Just joking! Well, maybe a little.
Honesty, humour, good communication and understanding are most important - and chemistry.
I'm not looking for someone perfect or for someone who expects me to be perfect.
