About her
Honest, confident, romantic thinker – curious about people and life. A lover of traditions and good manners, I can also be a rebel on the quiet and a sometime adventurer. I am sociable and have many good friends, but I would like to share love, companionship, laughs and the good things in life with my very own soul-mate.
I live in Blackheath, in south east London, and love to stroll through Greenwich Park, observing nature and people. I enjoy any excuse to behave like a child – messing about, giggling at puerile jokes and being mischievous. Equally I like discussing politics and the meaning of life with interesting, open-minded people.
I have always been involved in music (as a pastime) and am a passable singer – I sing in two classical choirs and in a rock band (composed of ageing rock musicians who don’t take themselves too seriously). I also love looking at art (pre-20th century preferably) and enjoy art history.
I practice yoga every day, run (or rather, shuffle) occasionally, and generally work hard to stay in shape. I am self-employed; work is both rewarding and flexible – just 2-3 days a week as a leadership coach – it helps to keep my mind active and to stay in touch with working life. I am a pescatarian and while I’m not exactly a whizz in the kitchen I’m more than happy to be cooked for.
I’ve been divorced for 14 years and have a 35-year-old son who is the best person in the world (he lives in North London).
