About him
Hi Rob here. Why Kyetsi? It’s the word for the Astrological check given to babies in Bhutan shortly after birth and my late wife liked the word.
Before my wife passed away she told me not to be sad and when the time was right to find love again. So here I am venturing back into the world of love and romance.
After becoming a widower I have thrown myself into community activities as a town councillor and an ex services association. When I have free time I also like to fly gliders.
I also have a couple of dogs and four cats so I guess I must like animals.
I previously travelled extensively with my work in the RAF around the world , and would love to revisit some of the places with someone special. I particularly liked Canada and USA as I went there often. My son lives in Canada and I just returned from his wedding. What an adventure that was, as I flew Air France via Paris. My French isn't great but I enjoyed a challenge, and now need someone to travel with me to go and visit them again soon. Are you up for this ?
I lived and ran a business in Spain a few years ago and would love to go back one day, ( my house is there just need a visa to live full time but they cost a fortune).
After my time in the RAF I worked in the hospitality sector then changed direction to work with people who have Learning Disabilities. I guess I have a caring nature. Finally gave up working to care for my wife who was seriously ill.
Now I’m looking for someone to be with for those special moments and day to day snuggling up watching a movie or going for walks and as I said before, cooking for one is not fun, eating a meal is much better when there is someone to share it with whether at home or out.
My musical tastes are fairly diverse, but stuff from the 70s seem to be my favourites, especially Prog Rock - Genesis/ Pink Floyd/Yes and electronic music. ( Just showing my age I think). Having said that I even like the Bee Gees! What do you like ?

A good sense of humour will also be helpful as I am sometimes a bit wacky ( although I have to be serious with some of my interests).
I would like to meet someone that appreciates my past-times, as I will endeavour to appreciate yours. ( I used to help my late wife with her hobby of showing pedigree cats).
